This summer, Jim's work will be featured in SAND: Memory, Meaning and Metaphor, June 29 through September 14, 2008, at the Parrish Art Museum, in Southampton, New York.

Thread a new film by Patrick Trefz, starring Jim, was released in the summer of 2007.

Jim had a show At PS1/MOMA last summer curated by Neville Wakefield.

Jim was recently featured in GQ Magazine

In January 2008, Jim created an ART dinner in Florence, Italy for 360 people, curated by Neville Wakefield. Read about it here.

Jim was recently chosen to participate in the 2009-2010 Vancouver Sculpture Biennale. Jim will create a giant work on a sand flat close to downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Land Rover/Range Rover commissioned Jim to create a number of artworks at Point Conception, California in July 2006 for an international television, print and billboard campaign. “Sandman,” a feature documentary on Jim’s art by award-winning filmmaker Chesley Chen was shown at film festivals and was aired on PBS in 2006.
